Olympiacos S.C. is the volleyball team of the Greek sports club Olympiacos. It was founded in 1930 and has won 23 National Championships, 13 Greek Cups and 1 Greek Super Cup. They are ranked among the top European teams and they are the most successful Greek club.
Olympiacos are the dominants of Greek volleyball, having gained the most national championships and cups while they are the only Greek team to have won European trophies (2 CEV Top Teams Cup). They have also played in many Final Four in the European competitions which makes them one of the biggest volleyball clubs of Europe.
Olympiacos have a women volleyball team as well which was founded in 1992. Contrary to the men's team, women of Olympiacos had never played a major role until 2007, when they finished second in the Greek league and eliminated their eternal enemy Panathinaikos in the Greek Cup. In the season 2007-08 the women department reached the quarter finals of the Challenge Cup.
